46.2 Proposal
Subject Area:
The subject for my podcast will be Film reviews and other film related topics such as; What makes a film popular? Why this makes it popular and how people prefer to watch a film. I got the idea for this subject because I love films but some just don't meet the standards that a trailer sets and thus doesn't turn out well. So I wondered if other people feel the same. Then I wondered what other people think make a film good or bad. So I decided to find out what others think and the answers to these questions using this podcast.
Genre:
The genre of my podcast will be a discussion between me and another presenter. The reason behind that is because it seems to be the most popular type of genre and I don't want to make a podcast that isn't popular and then not get anyone to listen. It will also be presenter led, I would guide to topics and subjects that me and my partner will be discussing. I will add stings in whenever I change the subject so that it wont seem like endless talk because, personally, even if it's interesting I tend to zone out if it is just endless speech.
Audience:
My target audience for my podcast has finally been decided to be 16-55. The reasons for this is because to make my research more reliable the I need to get a range of point of views. As you grow older, your opinions on films may change and therefore to find out how films are popular I must see if they are popular in different age groups. I would need to get multiple results from each age group for reliability because even in the same age group, people's opinions may differ from others.
Participants:
The main participants fro my podcast is obviously the two main presenters; me and my partner. We are of the same age group but most of our opinions seem to clash with each others, thus even if we have opinions, we are still being unbiased as we will argue for and against. The other participants would be the interviewees which will include various people from around town of various ages. I will also try to get an interview with someone from the town theater to see how different it is to acting in films.
